The Greenham Quality Assurance (QA) Department conducts monitoring and auditing activities at all three plants to ensure compliance with company and government programs. The QA team conducts extensive sampling and testing to verify that the standards applied in the processing areas have produced food that is safe for consumption. Our Food Safety Plan is monitored, verified, and documented in line with Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points (HACCP) principles. The Australian Department of Agriculture oversees meat hygiene, safety regulations, and certification at the Greenham plants.
Greenham operates with an uncompromising commitment to animal welfare. We integrate strict animal welfare standards into our quality system, ensuring that the health and welfare of the animals we process are managed with the utmost care. From transportation to our plants through to the processing stage, we follow rigorous protocols. By emphasising animal welfare at every step, we not only ensure the overall wellbeing of the animals in our care but also enhance the quality and safety of the meat we produce.
Utilising both the National Livestock Identification System (NLIS) and production identification and inventory systems, Greenham tracks all of our products through all stages of production and distribution.
Our Greenham programs such as the NEVER EVER Beef Program, Barley Beef Program, and Sustainability Standard are lifetime traceable and audited by a third-party to ensure compliance with our standards.
