The role involves overseeing render laboring functions, including the control of tallow quality and meat meal. The successful candidate will comply with and contribute to our robust OHS, Quality Assurance, and Training programs while working within a well-organized, friendly team environment.

This role ensures that all boning room personnel are proficient in the techniques and procedures required for efficient and high-quality boning operations, compliant with industry standards and regulations, and maintain the highest levels of hygiene and meat quality.

    Reporting to the Quality Assurance Supervisor, the successful candidate will be responsible for conducting daily quality control procedures and supporting various quality assurance tasks. They will initiate corrective and preventive actions as needed and ensure that all products comply with hygiene, AUS-MEAT export, and domestic regulations. Flexibility with working hours is essential, as the role includes being rostered during operating hours and completing overtime as required.

    We are seeking a full-time Quality Assurance Officer for our Tongala facility, which has been a key operation for over 25 years, processing a high volume of cattle for export markets. Reporting to the Quality Assurance Supervisor, the successful candidate will develop the skills to conduct daily quality control procedures, support various quality assurance initiatives, initiate corrective and preventive actions as needed, and ensure all products comply with hygiene, AUS-MEAT export, and domestic regulations.

    Truck Driver (Heavy Rigid Licence)

    HW Greenham & Sons currently has a vacancy at its Tongala processing facility for a HR Truck Driver. Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor the successful candidate must have the ability to reverse load from hoppers, delivery to our “on-site” disposal pit. Must be able to undertake preventive maintenance activities. Keeping both  equipment and Vehicle in serviceable and workable condition at all times.
